Midway challenge #75....Digistamps4Joy... Inspired by the 60's

Happy Wednesday everyone,
How has the week been so far.....I feel like I have had a whole week behind me already, but today is a rather special day as my hubby and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. 48 years..WOW..seems like just the other day. Nothing much planned today, just a pretty normal day, but maybe tonight a special glass of wine with our feet up...sounds really good to me.

Today is the midway reminder for challenge #75 at Digistamps4Joy..Inspired by the 60's  Riette is hosting this challenge and she has some lovely pictures of the 60's...remember ..Twiggy, the moon landing, the big sunglasses, mini skirts, ...and of course we got married slap bang in the middle of that decade....

The DT have made some really lovely cards for inspiration and you can see them  HERE I used the image "flower power" and it is available at the STORE together with a whole lot of other suitable images.

You do not have to use a DS4J image, but of course if you do you will have an extra chance in the draw. The freebie last weekend, Moon landing is ideal for this challenge, so if you managed to collect it, why not give it a go.

Here is what I used.
Side step card
Image coloured with distress inks and Twinkling H20's
Papers from my stash
Sentiment..computer generated
Added flowers, liquid pearls

Entering this in the following challenges:
Can you digi it #44...Let's go somewhere

Through the Craftroom Door...Anything goes
Try it on Tuesday...Make your own flowers
Tuesday Throwdown #164...Anything goes

I hope you all have a lovely day and enjoy the rest of the week. Thanks for popping in and see you soon.
Love, Ursula

Oh bless you Ursula, you have brought all the memories back - there I was sitting on the floor in the middle of the Palais in Nottingham 'flower' dancing to the song that went 'If you're going to San Francisco ..." Those were the days ... we have just had our 44th Wedding anniversary last month!!!!

Thank you for showing us this lovely card and congratulations on your anniversary!

Many Congratulations on your 48th Wedding Anniversary and I wish you and your husband many more Ursula. Your card looks as though you really enjoyed a trip down memory lane whilst you were creating - only a child of the 60's could recreate 'Flower Power' so brilliantly. You know, this card would be a wonderful to share with your grandchildren as a visual aid to let them know that you were once the same age as they are now (and perhaps some of the things Grandma got up to :-) ) Good luck in our challenge this week.
